Permanent Paint surface rejuvenation

So where is the best place to take your pride and joy for the best shine money can buy? Probably bring it to someone who can accomplish restoration of the paint surfaces without removing to much clearcoat, if any. The best place to start, is bring it where there is a proven track record with PROVEN results and actual pictures for absolute PROOF positive results. I would not let any beginners on the side of your car with a HIGH SPEED wheel who dont have a clue. This is is just inviting danger. This is something I have been doing for over 35 years, I do not guess what your vehicles finish needs...I ALREADY KNOW...just by looking @ the surface. I know what it takes to bring the paint along in the restorative stages of the high-speed compounding and what will make the surface shine in an optically correct fashion. Naturally, I cannot divulge all of my trade secrets...I can tell you I do NOT use any American made polishes or buffing media. I think the Germans and the Italians have given auto polishing more attention than we have here in America. I use what they use @ the German and Italian factories...the process I do is what they recommend. If your car is in need of paint rejuvenation, bring it to Ben Leone for the RENEWAL of its life. See all the photos of proof @ http://www.advancedautopolishing.com/ . Happy Motoring and be well Ben Leone 203-377-7797 as always free paint analysis.

Timely washing of your automobiles exterior

I would say when investing in an automobile that the care of that car would be of concern to the owner. Your vehicle should be washed at LEAST 2 times per month with cool water and a leading car wash LIQUID.... NOT DISH DETERGENT, as that is a harsh grease cutter and that dulls and strips the protection from the surfaces. During WINTER if you do not want a rot box, you should always run the spray hose under the inside of the fender wells to rinse the salt and sand out of all the tight areas which can cause a potential cancer down the road in the form of RUST. Never let the car DRIP DRY....don't be lazy, and chamois it down with ZAINO 6 spray detailer. You can buy it @ Zainostore.com last time I looked. I have been experimenting on products for car detailing for over 30 years. I have seen many products during my career as an auto detailer. I have seen people do some pretty outlandish things to their cars only trying to improve them, to later find out it was really just a lack of knowledge that stood in their way. Email me any question you may have. If your vehicle does not have the brilliance it once had, give a call and we can discuss it. Thanks for reading and I hope it was helpful. Paintxpert007@wmconnect.com or http://www.advancedautopolishing.com/. ALL THE BEST! "Ben Leone Detailer" on the web as just that, detailing fine autos CORRECTLY since 1969 way before the inception of the word "DETAILING".

High speed polishing

We spoke a bit about protecting your car, but little about the need to clean the surface prior to sealing. If you don't clean the surface prior to sealing the protection won't last as long - perhaps 30 days at best depending on how much precipitation we have and whether or not your vehicle is kept in a shelter or garage. So, in order to clean the surface prior to sealing, one must either clay or use a clay bar - and my comments on clay bars are I'm not sure if they do any good at all. I do know that they are very laborious, from what I've seen and heard. One gentleman with whom I spoke told me it took him eight hours to clay and wax his car. This is ridiculous to me. If anyone wants to try their luck with a high-speed wheel doing actual power polishing on the surface of their car, they would soon realize it's not that difficult. One can always polish at half the speed with a finish pad and not risk burning the paint. It depends how courageous you want to be. Certainly this blog is about addressing the fact that high-speed polishing is always going to outlast, outshine any job done by hand anywhere in the world. And, like I say on my site, the proof is in the pictures. So, if you want your car to look outstanding, teach yourself this skill. If you need my assistance, I can give you the Wheaties and nerve to proceed ahead. I just hope you don't have a Ferrari or DB9. Then I would say bring it to me.

Happy preparing for winter. Don't be bashful. Send me your detailing questions - there are no stupid ones. And remember, black is my specialty. Happy motoring. And let's hope winter passes quick.

Ben.
